The most 'far right' candidate for the Republican, Ted Cruz, takes unusual but tactical alliance with the most moderate candidate, John Kasich.
Kasich intends to allow Cruz to campaign in the state of Indiana, in hope that he will pick up the Kasich votes, narrowing the gap between Cruz and Trump considerably, in the hope that this will stop Trump from winning the 1,237 party delegates.
Trump released a statement saying: "It is sad that two grown politicians have to collude against one person who has only been a politician for ten months in order to try and stop that person from getting the Republican nomination."
