I've changed my mind...

'Britain MUST be worse off outside the EU.' - that quote has been widely used throughout European politics and really, it just shows that the EU is not there for the economic benefit of the individual country, instead it is there for the survival of the EU.

Further, my other problem exists with the lack of power of the modern reichstag or European Parliament and the ever more powerful European Commission.

Farage was right! Who gave the commission so much power? Why does the Parliament have as much power as the reichstag under Kaiser Wilhelm? And it really raises questions of how did we get here... I mean, most of what the EU has done, I would support, but then who agreed for that to happen.

And that leads me to ask... how did Turkey get this wonderful deal with the EU of heading towards VISA free travel and loads of money? Who the bloody hell agreed that and if we did, why is the press not talking about it? It clearly shows that the EU is not properly scrutinised...
Now, this often doesn't happen and if it does, it's for a really good reason.

I've changed my mind on the EU. Or at least the way I'd vote.

The EU, leaving it, I still think, will be an absolute disaster economically for the UK. Howeber, the way I'd vote has changed. I have had a slight realisation that perhaps, and I may sound like a radical..., the EU is in fact just the pet project of the nobility of Europe.

The EU, I think has been excellent for growth, jobs and peace, but it seems to have a general lack of respect for the principle of democracy and seems to exist only for its own existence.
