WHAT IS AUTISM?
AUTISM. IT IS DERIVED FROM THE GREEK WORK, AUTOS, WHICH MEANS SELF. THIS REFERS TO THE APPARENT SELF ABSORPTION OF THE FIRST CHILDREN STUDIED, WHO GAVE AUTISM IT'S PLACE AMONG MENTAL DISORDERS TODAY. THROUGH THIS ARTICLE, I HOPE TO ILLUMINATE SOME OF THE KEY ISSUES, ADVANTAGES AND MISCONCEPTIONS SURROUNDING AUTISM AND AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDERS.
